Ethiopian Air Redesign
A complete redesign of Ethiopian Air, the official airline of Ethiopia based in Africa. For this redesign — I tried to keep the heritage and inbuilt traditions of Ethiopia in mind since the people of this country would be it’s primary audience but with that, I also wanted the brand to appeal to a larger audience all over the world so people knew what Ethiopia, as a country has to offer.
With that, I created a logomark based on the traditional mark marking and pattern making techniques used by the Ethiopian natives and extended those patterns through the secondary brand elements.
Ethiopian air would fall in between the spectrum of a luxury and commercial airline.
